1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Claude2PDF, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Claude2PDF provides
Claude2PDF accepts supported public share links from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok and converts the visible conversation into a document that your browser can print or save as a PDF.
The service uses two processing stages:
- Server-assisted extraction: your public share URL is sent to the Claude2PDF server, which opens the public page with Puppeteer and temporarily processes the rendered HTML, including the visible conversation content.
- Browser-side document generation: the returned HTML is parsed in your browser, the preview is rendered there and your browser creates the PDF through its print function.
Claude2PDF does not provide an AI model, host the original conversation, sign into provider accounts or guarantee permanent compatibility with any provider.
3. Your instruction to process the public page
By submitting a supported link, you instruct Claude2PDF to retrieve and temporarily process that public page for the purpose of conversion. You understand that the conversation content necessarily passes through the Claude2PDF server during extraction and that the conversion is not entirely local.
The current application is designed not to intentionally save conversation content to a database or server-side file. However, no online service can promise that data will never exist transiently in memory, network buffers, infrastructure logs or provider-managed systems.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms in your jurisdiction. If you use Claude2PDF on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain any rights you already have in the content you process. You are responsible for ensuring that:
- you created the content or have permission to access, process and export it;
- the public share link was created or shared lawfully;
- your use does not violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, employment, contractual or regulatory obligations;
- you do not submit content that you are prohibited from sending through an online service;
- you understand the temporary server-side processing described in the Privacy Policy.
Claude2PDF does not claim ownership of your conversation content.
6. Public links and access controls
Use only supported public /share/ links. You may not use Claude2PDF to bypass authentication, paywalls, workspace permissions, technical restrictions or other access controls. A link being technically accessible does not necessarily mean you have the legal right to process, copy or redistribute its content.
7. Sensitive and confidential information
Claude2PDF is intended for public conversation share pages. You should not use the hosted service for highly sensitive, confidential, regulated or legally privileged information unless you have independently determined that temporary server-side processing is appropriate and authorized.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful activity;
- submit malware, malicious markup or payloads designed to attack Claude2PDF or a third party;
- automate excessive requests, evade rate limits or interfere with service availability;
- attempt to retrieve private or access-controlled conversations;
- misrepresent Claude2PDF as affiliated with a supported AI provider;
- use exported material in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
9. Privacy, storage and logs
The Privacy Policy explains the current architecture in detail. In summary, Claude2PDF does not currently include user accounts, a conversation database, behavioral analytics, a mailing list or an in-product feedback database. The server may record limited operational information such as the source hostname, status and error messages, while the current application code does not intentionally log conversation bodies or rendered HTML.
10. Third-party platforms
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, GitHub, Google Fonts, content-delivery networks, Buy Me a Coffee and the hosting provider are independent third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of a source platform remains subject to the agreement you have with that provider.
Claude2PDF is not responsible for third-party content, uptime, page structure, policy changes, tracking, security or data practices.
11. Open-source code, intellectual property and trademarks
Claude2PDF source code is published at github.com/Dunegerb/claude2pdf and may be used under the license included with the repository. The public repository allows inspection of the published code, but it does not create a warranty that the hosted service will always be available, error-free or identical to every fork or third-party deployment.
The Claude2PDF name, interface, visual design and other assets may remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless the repository license expressly states otherwise. Provider names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility. No endorsement or partnership is implied.
12. Service availability and changes
The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Provider page structures can change without notice, which may temporarily break extraction, omit content or alter formatting. Large conversations can take longer, and attachments, media, citations or interactive provider features may be simplified or excluded.
Claude2PDF may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue features, providers or routes at any time, including to protect users, comply with law, control abuse or adapt to provider changes.
13. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claude2PDF is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, secure, compatible with every conversation or suitable for a particular purpose. You should review every exported document before relying on it.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Claude2PDF and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; loss of data, content, revenue or opportunity; exposure caused by a public share link; or claims arising from third-party platforms or your use of an exported document. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Suspension and abuse prevention
Access may be limited or blocked when requests appear abusive, unlawful, automated beyond reasonable use or harmful to the service or third parties.
16. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the architecture, providers, dependencies or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
17. Questions
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the public GitHub repository. Do not publish a private share URL, conversation text, personal data or other sensitive information in a public issue.
